Oh yes, places to sit are vital. Both familiar ones, inside and outside, and new ones. I find that each can have its own influence over what you write while you are sat there.
Wish you could both come and sit with me here! Still, I'm going to start a bench photograph collection when I get home. I love that idea, Jem, of writing differently on different benches - there must be a short story in there somewhere.
