Looking at things again and again ...

... and every time seeing something different. A new angle, an alternative point of view, a detail missed that somehow pulls everything together in a new way. Is there anything better?

I agree wholeheartedly but I'm intrigued. Is this linked to your photo from the other week, the one of the toilet at a festival?!

Hahaha.. no! This one didn't have a disco ball in it, but WAS in the fabulous Museum for Women in the Arts in Washington. See me, I go to all the best toilets.... Maybe I should start a new blog?

I think you should as there's so much to consider: decor, quality and style of sanitary ware, whether it's automatic or manual flush, the door hinges and locking mechanisms, grading of toilet tissue, hand drying facilities and that's before you even think about cleanliness, pervading fragrance and the general ambience.

Also, it's just as sensible as biscuit blogging.

Hello, hello and hello, Meg!

I know about the scarf, Sue. Never fails to make me happy.

I think that's so true: it's vital for a writer (or anyone creative) to keep looking at different ways of conveying an experience.

Is there anything better? Are we taking chocolate out of the equation?

Thanks Brian! And yes, Clare - its about constantly seeing things anew.
Hmmm, Debi, chocolate....
