What are you doing, Sarah?

Well, last night I spent a long time playing with nightlights for a project I'm very keen to talk about on here but can't just yet,

The challenge was to write a poem without using traditional writing materials. OK, so mine is just one word but the lights, and climbing the stairs, and the darkness, and being under the stars, are all part of the poem too.

I hope you like it!

Like it? Yup, I do.

I like nightlights in gardens. For some reason, they always make me think of Kate Bush. Probably because she wrote a tune called Night Scented Stock about 3,000 years ago.

Thank you! Do you know how much I loved doing this? Nice to think outside the page sometimes.

That is as cool as it is beautiful as it is clever. Love it.

Thanks to you all - means a lot that you're looking and commenting! And also that you're not throwing rocks. I had the strangest feeling that someone would do that when I was setting this up - now, Sue, that's weird!!!!

Oh, I like this idea. And I can't remember where, but I think I was saying something along these very lines the other days. It was about grafitti, and different ways you could make public writing, like sky writing from planes, stone masons chipping into blank gravestones. I like the sound of this project...

Lovely, lovely, lovely.

Sky writing sounds great, Jem. Love the image of a poem drifting away into the clouds! And the contrast with the stone, where it's there to stay.
And thank you, thank you, thank you, Debi!

Oh that is just perfect. I don't want to add words, but just a big smile!
