On being cool

Perhaps it's the shopping trolley or the knitting, but the fact I could be cool is causing hilarity in some circles. Nevertheless, I am one of the three authors in the brilliant bluechrome's latest short story initiative. The Cool EP has stories by Patrick Chapman, Sally Spedding and me, and costs just £3, money which will be refunded if you want to then buy any of our short story collections.

You can find out all the details here, hey, you can even buy one there, and what's more - we're getting to go on tour like proper cool writers. I think I'm even going to be allowed to sing. More details soon.

AND I STAND CORRECTED ... they are currently only a £1 from the bluechrome site.

That's the coolest thing I've seen all year.

Can I be a backing singer? I have a pleasant bass-baritone voice and look good in a dinner jacket.

God knows I hate to point this out Ms. Salway, but they are currently going for a quid on the bluechrome site... No reflection on your writing, mind you..

Alex, I think we were on the lookout for a jungle cat. Know any?

Anthony, have amended my post, in a very cool way.

Hmmm....thanks. might have to get you to change it again in a minute, they look to be selling like warm hot cross buns with clotted cream butter on, hold the Dudley Dripping.

I'll let you know...

Great idea. Ordered! There should be more ways to encourage people to try new writing at a good price. I also love little pocket size books. Great to have one in your bag, in case you are every stranded somewhere for a few minutes.

I know, Nik!
And thanks, Jem. I haven't seen it yet but I love the idea too.
