See you in Oxford?

I'm going to be joining Oxford-based Your Messagers to read some short pieces as part of the Oxford Fringe Festival, on Wednesday 2nd April, 6.30pm at Borders, Magdalen Street. If you're around, do come and say hello!

Hello Sarah. Unfortunately, I won't be able to be in Oxford on the 2nd of April, but I though I'd share my experience with buying "Your Messages". I ordered a copy from amazon.co.uk (as per the link on your blogs (and other people's) on 4th February. The status was and remains "Temporarily out of stock. Order now and we'll deliver when available.". Fortunately, under "used and new", the book repository is now offering copies - I ordered mine on the 22nd of March and it arrived in a few days. Hurray for the book repository (I have used them several times and always had excellent service). I seem to remember looking at the bluechrome web site, but it doesn't seem to be available from there either.
It was great to find contributions in there from 3 bloggers I read regularly.

By the way Sarah, just to point out that it's either Tuesday the 1st, or Wednesday the 2nd :-).

Oops thank you Pierre, the correct date duly noted and changed! And I'm really sorry you had problems about Your Messages - I have copied your comment and passed it on to Bluechrome. I know there has been some problems with distribution, and I have been sending out copies myself when people were promised one from different sources because I hate that people have been let down, but hopefully it will be resolved soon. I'm glad you got one eventually - and hope you love the entries as much as I do. I keep re-reading my copy - they're so clever. Think there will be some stars of the future there too, so I'm treating the book as an investment!

Hello again Sarah. I see that the supplies from book repository have run out. But the good new is that I now have signed copy #113 of the hardback "leading the dance".
I hope there will be more "your messages" since I've given one of my two copies to a fellow blogger.
Have fun running in your bra - I hope it won't be too cold :-)

Argh, Pierre, I am so sorry you have had all this hassle. It's now up on the bluechrome website - http://www.bluechrome.co.uk/store/shop/item.asp?itemid=188 - if that's any help. And thank you, thank you, thank you for your support. Much appreciated.

Thanks Sarah. I have ordered a spare copy. Don't worry about the hassle - it was worth it; but it can't have done the sales any good because other people may have been lees persistent/addicted..
