So continuing the theme of doing too many things at one time, I wondered how many people are considering writing a novel in November?
Come on, surely you can fit it in!!!!
Seriously, it's a great project. I know lots of people who swear by it, not least as a kickstart to their sluggish creativity. Kay Sexton reminded me about it with this post on her blog, which explains it all much better than I can.
And in case you were wondering, we are not doing another round of Your Messages this November. However the prompts are still up there, if you want to see if you can write a completely new response for yourself. (ps and if you have a comment up there, and would like it removed, maybe to rework for publication etc, do get in touch - we certainly wouldn't want to hold back any of your excellent work from finding new homes.)

Thanks for the pointer, Sarah. I'm mulling over whether I have it in me!
I am doing NaNo for the first time this year, and really looking forward to it.
It's too much for me at the moment, Kathryn, but I will be here waving 'Go, go' flags and offering cups of tea to all who do! Like you, Lost Wanderer ... good luck!!!
I too am signed up for NaNo for the first time this year.
I've long been convinced that I don't have enough words in me for a novel, or enough words willing to come out in a coherent order. I guess plunging myself into this would be the ultimate test. But I don't quite feel brave enough yet. Maybe another year. In the meantime I'll stick to the short and sweet form of haiku.
Ooo good luck Emma! Let us know how you go. And Jem, you could always say you were going to write a haiku during November and wait to see if people were properly impressed!
Hi Sarah. Not sure how else to contact you regarding this. Long overdue, I'm wondering if I can somehow remove all my pieces from 'Your messages'? Not sure if you can remove them for me or if I can do it somehow. They were written under my aka name of Spot. Thanks, Ax
Hey Annie, you can always email me on sarahsalway - at - googlemail.com. I've just gone through and hopefully taken off your responses but if there's any I've missed let me know. I had to do it manually so it took some time and one might have slipped through! Loved so many of yours, btw. Hope you're using them as seeds for other pieces. All the best.
i'm attempting the nanowrimo challenge for the first time this year.. so excited. cheers :)
