Got a prizewinning short story? Apparently the organisers of the V S Pritchett Memorial Prize are 'enthusiastically' seeking entries, and the closing date has been put back a week.

I see that the 2000 winner of this award had the delicious surname of Barklamb. Am feeling seriously outgunned in the author name stakes. And then again the 2003 winner was called Saywell. Quel nom de guerre! All I can come up with is Prizewrite - which just sounds like a supermarket...
Yep, hate to say it but 'anonymous' is just a wee bit overused in the writing world. Why don't you just call yourself Tesco, and then you'd be rich enough to sponsor your own awards. I'd enter.
