There’s a balance to be struck, is what Hershell thinks. And it’s not always easy. Pints down the pub and Darts League Fridays. That’s with Tom. Then dressed in skirt and stockings on a Saturday and touching Robbie’s arm when they dance. And Hershell is a man for all seasons.
So, over a century of spectator sports and then the feminists blew their game apart as cleanly as the half-time whistle. The uprising had gathered momentum; the Mexican waves, the chanting, the synchronised arm movements. But now the role reversal was complete: the players came to watch the crowd.
