Twenty one things I have felt already today (and it’s not even lunchtime): sleepy, lost, awake, happy, grumpy, writerly, interested, hungry, in need of coffee, satisfied, in the flow, studious, achey, non-writerly, bored and in need of gossip, status upped, tweeted out, caged, determined, noble, but hungry all over again.
(*eg personally I am always prepared to starve for my art)

I'm 21 today. No, really. I can tell, not by the number of rings around my trunk (although they're there) but because I've redrafted my piece of writing for Saturday 21 times. This is probably the same number of times that I have put off doing the ironing today too.
Hah! And how many creme eggs you've eaten before Easter???
Maybe. But then eggs come in dozens so perhaps I should round it up to 24?
Love this, Sarah. Makes me laugh as does Kathryn's reply.
Twenty-one reasons not to. Twenty-one ways to say no. Twenty-one ifs and buts and maybes, putting off the saying of yes. Tomorrow, perhaps. Or the next day. Or soon. Not 'never', not ever saying that, though that would be kinder.
Edward waits. Patiently, asking only ‘when?’
‘One day,’ Hayley promises.
Good one Sarah - there's no day that can't be improved with a list.
