The Artists Way

I've followed Julia Cameron's guided Artists Way twice now, and am thinking of starting the twelve weeks again at the end of March just to kick start some new ideas and see what comes up. Anyone want to do it with me? Email or leave a comment if so.

Your willingness to do this a third time suggests to me that it leads to a rewarding experience. Therefore, I have just ordered my copy. I think it's particularly important for me as the end of our course looms and I need to keep up the momentum!

Great Kathryn. There are three so far so I'll set up an email group or something soonish. It'll be good to share some of the exercises, thoughts etc.

If I remember rightly, don't you have to go for a week without reading? !!!

Here's the webpage, Douglas - http://www.theartistsway.com/ It's a book by Julia Cameron about working through the process. Although it's called Artists, it's equally for writers.
Holen, oh hurrah. Can't tell you how pleased I am, and Karen, yes. Go on, you could do that!!! We're Virgos, we have iron self-discipline. Did you know btw that tomorrow and Thursday are going to be days when you and I might get into fights? Hopefully not with each other, but still. Better to be warned.
Annie, Thank you. I'm planning to set up a blog because there's a few of us and we can just then post and read as we want, rather than me controlling everything. I'm rather hopeless at controlling. Sadly.

Ohh, I like the sound of this, please count me in. I could do with 'minimising my inner censor'. Plus I get to kickstart that stalking I promised you!

Great Alison. THere's a nice group of us now. I'll set up a blog or a group and then email the details around, and we can all join in as and when we want. I'm excited!
