Exposure - 50 word story

On the day they said no women could be seen in public, they covered the statues. Watching with her mother, Miranda draped herself in the curtain as a joke. Although her mother blamed the sound of the key turning for her tears, Miranda knew it had all been her fault.

Nicely done!

The ropes binding the sheets cut into her diminishing flesh, forbidding her to take any steps greater than those of a geisha. Wordlessly, she struggled to free her right arm; she may have to lose a little more weight before slipping out of this poisonous snake's skin to speak freely.

There’s a new statue in the park. Kept under wraps just now. Clothed in sheets and bound all over with nylon cord. Auld Archie lifts the hem of the skirt, grinning like a schoolboy, and underneath he sees a woman’s bare feet, toes too perfect and beautiful in yellow stone.

I love your stories. Purrrrrrrrrrrrrrrfect for me, as I have such a short attention span. But even so, you seem to say much within that short space.Well done, you.
