Well, you've done it again, shown me a glimpse of something I've always wanted but didn't know was really there. I remember desperately not wanting to like "Eat, Pray..." and loving it nonetheless. Now that I've heard her speak, there are some questions: (1) did she write this and memorize it? How could she speak so fluently without having done it all a million times before, yet it seems she's talking off the top of her head? (2) Would she be my friend? (3) How do I stop feeling jealous that her "genius" hasn't shown up in some corner of my office yet?" I was going to blog this week about Eliz Baines and the idea of stealing ideas anyway. I hope you don't mind if I steal this from you....xo
Borrow away both of you ... it's what we're all doing here! xx I wondered about the memory bit too, Sue. It doesn't seem as if she has an autocue, but not even a glimpse of a note. Cor.

Thanks for this Sarah... something to think about.

Brilliant and really affecting. Thanks for posting, Sarah. Love the idea of dragging poems backwards...

Great images, weren't there? BUt I think the comments are almost as interesting - always thought provoking when people take such opposing views.
Superb - something else I think I shall have to borrow from your blog - I might as well call Planting Words 'Stuff that Sarah Salway found first' ;)
